No Potters Fields Bought in Malaysia

The number of defectors and 'frogs' in the Malaysian political scene today is simply stunning. And they generally tend to be from Opposition parties, have cases pending against them, or are rumoured to be in financial difficulties.

The new trend, it seems, is to become an 'independent'. Yet go around making statements which directly or indirectly support the Barisan Nasional.

In addition to politicians, we find that party aides too seem to be jumping camp. And in the process, making all kinds of accusations against their former employers. And then, in some cases, appearing as guest speakers for BN, in by-elections, as they will, no doubt, in the coming General Elections. While claiming to be doing it all "for the sake of the country".

We have yet to see any of them exhibiting a remorseful conscience.

And so, we assume, the silver remains firmly in their grasps.

Update : The silver, in some cases, it is revealed today, could be as high as RM 1.4 Million. We had only estimated 30 pieces at approximately RM120,000 in today's value.  -The Owl, 11th March 2011.
